Norbert Blei - Shut the Damn Door Sticker
The second installment of the Door County Myths and Legends series: Norbert Blei. The resident writer who camped out over coffee all over the county, and perhaps the biggest critic of the almost industrial fortification of all things inviting more people, more vacation, more problems to the home and haven of Door County, is immortalized in the memories of those who met him. He famously called to "Shut the damn door!" In an effort to reclaim the beauty and solitude our residents found here and fell in love with in the first place. This is a small attempt to honor a man and his great output in a time when he might be needed most.
